What I’m I looking for?

Shapewear comes in a variety of styles, features and control levels.  You should first decide on what exactly are you looking for in Shapewear.

Try answering these questions:

What part(s) of my body do I want to shape/control?

If your answer is Stomach, then you need any type of Waist Shaper.

If your answer is Legs, then you need any type of Leg Shaper.

If your answer is at or near your Breast, then you need any type of Bust Shaper.

If your answer is Thighs, then you need any type of Legs Shaper.

If your answer is Hips, then you need any type of Legs Shaper.

If your answer is Buttocks, then you need any type of Panty Shaper.

If your answer is a combination of parts of your body, then you may a type of Body Shaper.

If your answer is a combination from your waist to ankles, then you should start with Leg Shapers.

What features am I looking for?

Support – Normally we select support for providing added comfort or support to specific areas of our bodies. You may need additional support to help ease the comfort of lower or upper back pain.  If this is your reason for support, first consider the area that you need to support, then select items in the

Control – How much control do you require in your Shapewear. Maybe you want a light control product to help flatten or lightly curve your body.  Maybe you require a firm control product that compress or add definition and shape to specific areas of your body. We have the products to help in either case. When searching the Shapewear section, you will notice that all the items tell you if the product provides light, moderate or firm control.

Enhance – Enhancement products includes products that add curves or features to your body to help you look even better or to enhance a specific area.  These items may include Bust Enhancers or Buttocks Enhancers. We are constantly looking for quality, affordable, new products to help improve the body without extreme, expensive surgical procedures.

Surgical Procedures – If you are selecting items for post surgical procedures to help decrease the recovery time and provide the needed support for care after these procedures, you may want to view the products in our Post Surgery category.  You can also search by body part in our advance search screen at http://www.senselingerie.com/searchadv.aspx. If you are looking for products related to hips, type “hips” in the Search For field, then select Search Descriptions. Then Search and you will get a listing of our products related to this area or procedure.  You can also contact us for any additional assistance with this product.

How often will I wear my Shapewear?

Everyday – For everyday use, quality will be your number one priority. You would want products that were designed to last for years and only get better with extended use.  Our Annette Shapewear line does just that. It’s an affordable line that will do exactly what you intend it to do.  The shapewear is firm and want give in; it will keep you confident for years, not weeks like cheaper, low-end brands.

Occasional – If you only plan to wear your shapewear with certain styles or for certain occasions, quality is still important, but you may be looking for items that may provided added control or features that create the look that you are looking for with a specific style. For example, if you are planning to wear a form-fitting, low-cut, dress you should look for styles that provide just what you looking for in Shapewear.  You can also use advance search and type in specific search terms at http://www.senselingerie.com/searchadv.aspx. For example, you can type in “low back bra” or “strapless bodysuit” and get a list of items that may provide the help that you require. Special Occasion (Once) – If you are looking for a specific style of bra or shapewear, for lets say, your wedding or Sweet 16 Party, then we can assist you with this too.  We provide specific products that control, enhance and support many areas that you can customize for your look. Sizing for Your Shapewear

Tools Needed:

Tape Measure (to get an exact sizing for the product that you require)

Mirror (to make sure you are measuring the right area)

Measurements

Since many lines, may change from size to size, our store provides a Size Chart under each of our Shapewear products to list the measurements for that product.  This is very important, since you want to make sure the product is exactly the size you require. You would also want order your measurements, since quality Shapewear does not give.  Sometimes we as women, have a tendency to buy Shapewear that is smaller than our regular size, we feel that it will hold us better, but what happens is it looses it shape quicker and tears or breaks easier.  Quality Shapewear does not give, but stays constant in support and shaping, so order your size.
